Spanish director general of the European Union – will open CMS conference in Berlin

1st International CMS Conference: Daniel Calleja Crespo to deliver keynote speech

Daniel Calleja Crespo will open the 1st International CMS Conference with a keynote speech. In his paper the Spanish Director-General of the European Union will examine how competitive the EU’s service industry is. On 1 February 2012 Daniel Calleja Crespo became head of the Enterprise and Industry Directorate-General of the EU. He is also the special envoy for small and medium-sized enterprises (SME’s). His responsibilities include internal markets for goods, competitiveness and innovation.

Under the heading of “Sustainable competitiveness in the cleaning sector“ on 25 and 26 September the International CMS Conference will be addressing members from every part of the sector with this up-to-the-minute topic. Senior cleaning industry executives from Europe, North America, South America, India and China will be examining the many aspects in a global context. The conference will be held in German, English and French. The venue is the Marshall Haus, a listed building on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.

Exhibitors and trade visitors attending CMS 2013 can register online for the 1st International Conference at: www.cms-berlin.de / CMS Kongresse. The participation fee is 400 euros. Included in the conference ticket is admission to the fair, to the CMS reception on 25 September at the south entrance to the grounds, and to the reception on 26 September on the joint stand of BIV, VDMA and IHO.

The cleaning trade fair CMS is Europe’s leading event for this sector in 2013. Germany is Europe’s largest market for commercial cleaning systems and chemical agents. CMS will take place on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds from 24 to 27 September 2013.
