This is just one of the aims that Pulire Verona plans to increase its sustainable policy, in line with the European Standard ISO 20121:2012 for sustainable events
Milan, January 2013 – Pulire Verona 2013 is based on two key concepts: interaction with the exhibitors expressed by the 2.0 system and sustainability. On this theme the fair is in line with European Standard ISO 20121:2012 for sustainable events. The 2013 edition aims to strengthen the environmental policy of the event and Afidamp Servizi, the organizer of the event, plans a series of actions involving both exhibitors and visitors, using a balanced and sustainable approach to economic activity, environmental responsibility and social progress. Based on this philosophy are the principles of good event management, social inclusion, integrity and transparency.
A key step is done to help save energy. In fact Afidamp Servizi proposes sustainable scheme stands. Will be installed LED bulbs that will enable energy savings of 86%. Moreover all the vessels, already from previous editions, have a rate of reuse of 90%, reducing the environmental impact of a new realization. The carpeted floor is also fully recyclable.
This is the most obvious of actions intended to encourage sustainable behavior, spanning the technical and organizational aspects and the overall management of the event. To reduce the environmental impact from transport procured, will be the favorite accommodation located near the fairgrounds, or structures that have environmental certification and are particularly attentive to the management of water and energy resources. Afidamp Services will also promote a system of public transport and sustainable for visitors, exhibitors and staff to the fair and the accommodation.
When it comes to concern for the environment can hardly overlook the chapter waste. In the management of Pulire, from the preparation and setting up the performance, the organization is promoting all parties aware of the recycling and reducing packaging. As a final aspect includes a commitment to purchase goods and services with low environmental impact.
